What is faith? What does faith mean to you? To me faith means to believe in yourself and in other people to get you through something that is happening to you , either if it is good or bad. The book we are reading in English right now is Anne Frank. Anne Frank shows a great deal of fait, by believing that all the Allies forces will come to Germany to help free all of the Jews that were sent away from there familes and sometimes killed. Anne Frank and her family had to flee their home to be safe from the Nazis. They went into hiding in a small room that was hidden upstairs from Mr.Franks office. No one was able to know that they were in there or they would be caught. The holocaust was a really bad period in time when the Nazi’s decide to kill all of the Jews and handycaps, because he thought that they were people who were not good enough to live. Would you have faith, if you knew that all the soliders were looking all over for you and your family, and you have no idea what they might and could do to you. Would you keep your faith? Would you be scared? Anne Frank, along with her family, were caught and was taken away from her dad. A year later when the Allies came and started freeing all of the Jews she died. Anne Frank never knew that she was going to die a year before the Allies freed everyone, she never knew that her diary was going to be a story that was going to tell the pain of all of the Jews who had to go into hinding. Anne Frank never knew! The only thing Anne Frank did know was that one day all of the Jews were going to be free and no one would every take away there freedom again!

Most of my friends don’t know this but I love to read. I can finish a book in less then three days, and that is with me doing all my homework and doing sports after school. When people look at me they don’t really think I am the reading type but I am. I love to read fiction. Sometimes when I read about other people a book I start to picture myself as if i was in the book as a friend to the main character, that’s when I know that the book is really good. One of the many books that I have read is a series about a girl having to move all the way to Temple, Georgia from Hollywood when her mom and dad get sent to jail and to rehab, while she is living in Temple with some family she finds out that all the rich things dont matter if you don’t have your family. I really liked the book, but I think it was mostly for girls. One of my favorite authors is Sarah Dessen she has wrote so many wonderful books, like Someone Like You, That Summer, the Truth About Forever, and many more. Her books are long and you feel really bored at the being of the book but towards the middle something really big happends and it just makes you want to keep on reading more and more. I have all of her books and I have loved reading them!

When I am in a bad mood, I turn on the water in the shower, make sure it is really hot and take a really long shower. This helps me relax because no one eles is in the bathroom at the same time that I am , it gives me a chance to be alone and think about what made me get into this bad mood. If it is raining I get in the bed and sleep, for some odd reason the rain tapping on the roof is really smothing to fall asleep to, and I never want to wake up. When I get fusturated with people I go into my closet and shut the door so no one can get in and then scream at the top of my lungs, it helps. My favorite movie to watch when I am in a bad mood is the Sound of Music , the songs are really nice and I start to wish I was in the movie having the time of my life. I am always wanting to listen to music, so I just turn on the radio and listen to top20, they are always playing my favorite songs. I hope you find something that makes you feel good after something bad happends to you, if not you can try someone of my ideas.
